The holiday season is quickly approaching. We just wanted to let you know when the gym will be closed. To avoid having your child lose their spot in class, please make sure to pay your tuition on time. If your child will be missing class due to holiday plans outside of our scheduled time off, please see me (Diane) or Ulrike about prorating your tuition, but we encourage make-up classes with our flexible make-up policy given at the bottom of this page. This helps us meet our financial obligations.
Thanksgiving – We will be closed on Thursday and Friday November 26th and 27th only.
Pre-School, Boys and Progressive Level 1-3 gymnasts should take a make-up Class for
Thursday and Friday. These make-up classes may be taken before or after the missed days.
There were even 5 Thursdays and Fridays in October, but we hope you will take a make-up for these classes.
Christmas and New Years – We will be closed December 24th – January 2nd.
Tuesday and Wednesday students will receive 4 weeks in December before we close.
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday students should take a make-up class before or after the
Please remember that we always guarantee 4 weeks of classes in a month, the 5th week days are extra and we do not
charge more for these extra days during the year—many gyms run on a 4-week session and they have 13 sessions a year instead
of our 12 months. Pre-Team and Team gymnasts receive many 5th week days during the year, and there are no make-up classes.
Make-up classes may be made before or after the actual missed day. You can start taking them in November and carry them over to January and February if needed. Just call me (Diane) or Ulrike to arrange for the make-ups so that we do not overload any of the classes. Most gyms limit the number of make-ups and the time they need to be made up within.
I try to be very flexible and say that as long as your child is registered for the month, they can carry over make-ups whenever they are convenient for you.
This also applies to days your child is ill or just misses for whatever reason.
Lastly, we will have the January Payment Reminder on the door up earlier (December 17-23) so that we can meet certain obligations during the last week in December when we are closed.
Enjoy the holidays and be safe!
Diane and Bernie
